Pool Terms of Use

APA Hotel & Resort Yokohama Bay Tower

In order for you to use the pool comfortably and safely, our hotel has established the following terms of use (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms"). Please read these terms carefully and agree to them before using the service.


・There is a fee to enter the pool grounds during the swimming period.
・Only the poolside terrace can be used free of charge outside the swimming period and after the pool closes during the swimming period.


・Around July to September (may vary slightly depending on the year)


・Swimming period 9:00 to 18:00 (charged) *From 18:00 to 22:00 only the poolside terrace can be used for free ・Outside swimming period 9:00 to 22:00 (free) Only the poolside terrace can be used ・Outside business hours Please refrain from using.


・Persons belonging to anti-social forces will be refused entry.
・Persons with tattoos are strictly prohibited from entering.
However, this does not apply if it can be covered with a sticker designated by our museum.
・Persons who are unwell, have consumed alcohol, are suspected of having an infectious disease, or have been prohibited from entering the water by a doctor are not permitted to enter the water.
・Children under junior high school age must be accompanied by a guardian.


・Before use, please thoroughly wash off makeup, sun oil, etc.
・Please be sure to take a shower before entering the pool, after using the toilet, and before leaving the pool.
・Please refrain from wearing anything other than a swimsuit or naked.
・Please remove all sunglasses and accessories and footwear before using the facility.
・Please refrain from bringing large swimming equipment or toys. Please note that depending on the crowd, you may be asked to refrain from using swimming equipment.
・It is strictly prohibited to bring dangerous items (glasses/bottles, metal/cutlery, fire/explosives) into the premises.
・Entry with pets is not permitted.
・Please do not scatter trash on the premises.
・We have installed security cameras to ensure the safety of our customers.
・There will be no staff during free opening hours. In case of emergency, please contact the hotel front desk.


・Please manage your luggage at your own risk.
・The hotel cannot guarantee against discoloration of swimsuits, lost or damaged luggage, etc.
・Please use the lockers to store valuables and keep them securely at your own risk.



・Smoking is completely prohibited on the premises. If you wish to smoke, please use the smoking area designated by the hotel.
・Running by the pool, jumping into the pool, or diving is prohibited as it may disturb other guests and is very dangerous.


・Please follow the instructions of the lifeguard and immediately stop any activity that the lifeguard deems to be dangerous or cause a nuisance to other customers. If you violate the instructions, you may be asked to leave. In that case, no refund will be given.
・It may be unavailable due to bad weather, unforeseen circumstances, or congestion. Please note.
・Please note that the hotel cannot be held responsible for any accidents, loss or theft of luggage, or troubles between customers.
・Even if items are not listed in these terms and conditions, bringing them in or engaging in other activities may be prohibited at the discretion of the lifeguard.
・These terms and conditions are subject to change from time to time.
